How It Works:
Lignans are a group of phytonutrients (plant nutrients) that are found in seeds, grains and vegetables. Flaxseed is by far nature's richest source of plant lignans. The lignans are found in the fibre hull of the seed. Flaxseed contains a total of 27 different lignans, the main one being secoisolariciresinol diglycoside (SDG).
Each scoop contains Linum usitatissimum (flaxseed) hulls, 5 grams.
