In America, heart attack affects 735,000 people annually. In the 735,000 people, 525,000 are first-time heart attacks patients, while 210,000 are patients who have had a heart attack more than once.
Among the various heart diseases, coronary is the high prevalent heart disease compared to others.
Heart disease has the highest rate of deaths in men than in women. Over half of heart disease deaths in the 2009 statistics were men compared to women.
